From Zuda's online comic Bayou, meet Lee Wagstaff. Lee's a young girl living with her sharecropper father in Charon, Mississippi during the Great Depression. Charon is a strange place full of pain, magic, misery and delight. And Lee, no more than eight or nine, manages to endure or enjoy whatever the tiny town sees fit to bless or curse her with. Visit the Bayou website to read more about Lee and the amazing world that artist Jeremy Love has created. |
